After 20 years, the time has come for Logimonde to update its image and with this next step comes a new name, Logimonde Media, accompanied by a new logo.

“We chose to add “Media” to our company name in order to best identify our business activities,” said Uguette Chiasson, president and founder. “Additionally, the new logo found on Logimonde Media products symbolizes the collective travel industry.”

Moving forward, the company’s entire portfolio of commercial products and publicity materials will reflect this new look.

A new graphic design service, QuickDesign, is also being added to Logimonde’s product line. A professional designer, employed full-time by Logimonde, will be assisting clients in designing materials for web, print as well as logos, business cards and other marketing materials.

Last year, Logimonde launched the online event registration service DoingAnEvent.com, which continues to grow. Thousands of registrations for a number of travel industry events have been generated using the system, and clients and users continue to be very enthusiastic about the product.

As for the QuickPresse.com service, an investment has been committed to upgrades, to integrate a new cutting edge e-mail distribution network system.

Currently, QuickPresse.com can send between one and 1.2 million e-mails but thanks to this new system, the number of e-mails sent with the QuickPresse.com service will be unlimited.

Until now, e-mails were limited to travel professionals and those on Logimonde’s subscription lists. With this major investment, it will now be possible for Logimonde to send advertisements to clients’ mailing lists on their behalf, potentially to millions of addresses at a time.  For example, suppliers and travel agents who want to send promotions using QuickPresse.com to their own client lists will be able to do so.

Such innovation demonstrates how far the company has come since sending faxes one-by-one QuickPresse was founded in 1998.

In addition, a new corporate website is currently in the works and is expected to be live online in two months. There, you will be able to find all the necessary information regarding all Logimonde Media products and services.

Furthermore, the three websites and e-magazines – ExpressVoyage.ca, TRAVELHotNews.com and HelloWestTravel.com – are undergoing a redesign. In six months time, site visitors and subscribers will see a complete reimagining of the magazines, all still packed with industry news.

With all these new initiatives and projects in the works, 2012 is clearly going to be a busy year for Logimonde Media. Add to that the fact that the company is currently working towards publishing two quality print magazines by the end of 2012.

Logimonde Media is the only company in the Canadian travel industry to have audited its distribution lists for the three e-magazines and the QuickPresse.com distribution service, using national accounting firm, Samson Bélair/Deloitte & Touche s.e.n.c.r.l.
