Travel Professionals International has realigned its sales and marketing team as the company continues to grow across Canada.
TPI’s sales team will now be led by three directors including:
- Western Canada: Christine Winchester, a TPI travel advisor for 10 years and a member of TPI’s head office team for two years.
- Ontario: Rhonda LaFosse, a TPI team member for five years; and
- Atlantic Canada: Lisa Geddes, a TPI team member for 16 years.
These positions replace the previous Regional Sales Managers as TPI employs a director-level presence working closely with its advisors and partners in their respective regions.
Colton Chia has been promoted to Director, Partnerships, leading new and existing partner contract negotiations and event contract procurement.
In marketing and events, TPI has welcomed Director, Marketing & Events, Jordana Botting. Botting comes to TPI with 15 years of experience in the travel industry, including most recently as the Senior Director of Marketing at Tully Luxury Travel. She brings to TPI a wealth of knowledge related to digital marketing and supplier partnerships.
In addition, Caroline Hay joins TPI as Manager, Marketing & Events, working alongside Amanda Pereira, who has also been promoted to Manager, Marketing & Events. Hay comes to TPI with 25 years of experience in the travel industry, including recently as a travel advisor and as Business Development Manager for Princess Cruises, and Pereira has been a TPI staff member for over 10 years.
As TPI continues to expand it sales and marketing presence in Ontario, Morgan, Chia, LaFosse, Botting and Hay are all based in the Greater Toronto Area, while Pereira is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
TPI continues its expansion efforts as it currently is searching for a Vice President, Sales & Marketing, and a Director, Business Development. Both roles will be based in Ontario.
