Frank DeMarinis named interim CEO for Merit Travel

Phil Sproul, CEO for H.I.S - Merit Travel Inc and Merit Group Inc. is no longer with the company. 

In a statement issued by the company, Merit Travel wrote: "We are grateful for Phil's contributions over the past years and wish him the very best in his future endeavors."

Frank DeMarinis, CEO for Red Label Vacations and Board Director, has been appointed as the interim CEO for H.I.S - Merit Travel Inc and Merit Group Inc. Therefore, all Phil’s direct reports will now report to Frank.

Emily Miedema, CFO, and Dirk Baerts, COO, will continue to lead the day-to-day functions of the organization together with Frank while reporting directly to the Board.
