Transat Distribution Canada is inviting new members of its Agent@home program to take part in the 2018 TDC Sales Academy, where agents can learn how to increase their sales of TDC’s various products.
The TDC Sales Academy takes place April 27 – May 4, 2018 at the all-inclusive Melia Caribe Tropical in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Registration for the Academy opens in mid-November.
Agents will receive intensive sales training from special guest speaker Michael Vickers, along with dedicated training on Sun Destinations, Europe, Cruise and Luxury products from more than 20 preferred partners and professional coaches. The format includes hands-on business building workshops, site inspections of Transat’s key hotels and resorts and special events. Last year’s event welcomed 150 delegates, comprising a mix of junior and senior travel agents from across Canada, who worked with preferred suppliers and training coaches for an intense, boot-camp- type training for a week.
“They will have access to state-of-the-art training from professional coaches and our top suppliers,” said Susan Bowman, Executive VP Marketing, TDC said the 2018 Sales Academy will be a great way for home based agents joining the TDC network to kick-start their experience. “At TDC, we know that education is an integral part of our travel professional’s success. Understanding all of our products thoroughly enables them to better serve their customers and exceed their expectations.”
