Fiji Airways Names New General Manager, North America

Fiji Airways has announced the appointment of Olaf Kaehlert as regional general manager, North America.

Kaehlert is an industry veteran who brings over 15 years of expertise in business development, marketing, and sales as well as broad experience in international business, particularly in the North and South American, European, and Asian markets.

Kaehlert also has over 10 years of experience in the airline industry and joins Fiji Airways from Korean Air, where he most recently served as general manager, Latin America. Prior to Korean Air, Kaehlert worked for Universal Air Travel Plan, Inc. (UATP), Mexicana Airlines, and the Los Angeles Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Kaehlert is based at the airline’s Los Angeles hub and will report directly to Otto Gergye, executive general manager, sales and marketing.
