It’s May and PAX magazine is celebrating!

The beginning of May marks two special occasions this year: the beginning of Travel Agent Month (which this year starts on Travel Agent Day, the first Wednesday in May) commemorating the hard work of Canadian travel agents across the country; and the fifth anniversary of PAX magazine, which launched this month in 2014.

Just in time for Travel Agent Month, the May edition of PAX features Travel Professionals International Founder and Chairman Morris Chia in the cover story. With TPI celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2019, Chia discusses his beginnings and growth in the industry, the evolution of the home-based agent as well as the continued relevance of travel advisors in 2019 and beyond.

Speaking of travel agents, this month’s edition also takes a look at specialist agents and agencies who have found their own niches in the vast travel landscape. From golf vacations to Disney, these agents are truly selling what they know best!
