With a goal of bringing more travellers to BC, Vancouver International Airport and Rocky Mountaineer have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to formally share knowledge, expertise and market intelligence.
According to a statement by YVR, the MOU encourages both organizations to work together in marketing programs around the world to support destination growth and the growth of our key airline partners.
“We are pleased to have this agreement in place with Rocky Mountaineer,” said Craig Richmond, President & CEO, Vancouver Airport Authority. “Working closely with tourism partners like Rocky Mountaineer allows us to promote our region around the world. Through this partnership, we will enhance the B.C. brand, providing further social and economic benefits to our community.”
“We look forward to working with Vancouver Airport Authority to connect visitors from around the world with British Columbia,” said Steve Sammut, President and CEO, Rocky Mountaineer. “The success of B.C.’s tourism industry relies on partnerships like this to promote our region; attract travellers to the area; and fulfill their dreams through unique tourism experiences, which start and end with the airport.”
