Qantas Announces Short Seasonal YVR- Sydney Service

Qantas has announced it will operate six direct return flights between Sydney, Australia and Vancouver in January 2015.

Qantas will operate flights from Jan. 3 to Jan. 22, 2015 with a Boeing 747. Flights will depart from Sydney on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 2:30 arriving at 9:45. Flights will leave Vancouver on Sundays and Thursdays at 11:45 and arrive at 10:25 the next day.

Qantas also recently announced a codeshare with West Jet to provide new connections from their trans-Pacific services to an expanded network across Canada.
