Agents, take note: your clients can earn discounts for their company through WestJet’s new and improved Business Travel Program (BTP).
Through the program, the more clients spend, the more they save, while providing agents with commission on each booking. Clients will enjoy competitive at-source discounts; reports on their WestJet travel spend; and the option for any unused flight credits to be used by all company employees.
Features of the program include:
- The ability to book for your clients through your preferred GDS.
- All bookings are in for measurement and in for payment.
- Program support from the Agency Sales Team and the Travel Support Team.

For currently registered companies, agents will earn seven per cent commission for all new bookings made between Sept. 1 – Oct. 31, 2018 and travelled by Dec. 31, 2018. For newly registered companies, agents earn 10 per cent commission for all new bookings made and travelled by Dec. 31, 2018.
In addition, WestJet will launch WestJet Biz for agents on Oct. 1, an online booking tool which allows agents to book clients’ flights, hotels and car rentals at no cost. Details will be announced soon.
