Freddie Marsh of Playa Hotels & Resorts hosted over 30 agents at a breakfast training yesterday in Langley just outside of Vancouver. The session was filled with valuable information on the Playa Resorts properties in Mexico and Jamaica.

Playa Resorts is the first all-inclusive company to be traded on NASDAQ. The company operates the Hyatt Zilara, Hyatt Ziva and GRAN properties.

The Hyatt Zilara properties are adults only (18+) while the Hyatt Ziva is for all ages. The luxury five-star all-inclusive resorts are built upon four pillars:

1) Service - the highest staff to guest ratio in the all-inclusive arena.

2) Food & Beverage - top shelf liquor, unlimited dining at a la carte restaurants, complimentary room service, and attention to dietary needs.

3) Accommodations - Hyatt beds in every room category, and guaranteed bed configuration at time of booking.

4) Location - on the best beach, and either in town or next to town.

Hyatt Zilara Cancun (307 suites)

This is the best-selling property, featuring all ocean-facing suites, seven fine dining venues, four bars and nightly professional entertainment.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun (547 rooms)

Surrounded by the ocean on three sides, this resort has two beaches, one with sheltered waters. The Turquoize adults-only section has butler service and a private pool deck. It also includes nine fine dining venues and seven bars.

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos (591 rooms)

Located on a wide sandy beach (though it’s not swimmable), this property is within walking distance of San Jose del Cabo. It includes dining venues and six bars, with an adults-only pool also available.

Hyatt Ziva Puerto Vallarta (335 rooms)

Only five minutes from downtown, this property features six fine dining venues, five bars, and the largest spa in Puerto Vallarta. Its Club Tower rooms have full balconies, while some rooms in the Main Tower have Juliet balconies. (Club rooms are currently under renovation with a December completion date.)

Hyatt Zilara (234 suites) & Ziva Montego Bay (387 suites)

These side-by-side resorts are just 10 minutes away from the Montego Bay airport, with a private arrival lounge. Guests at the Zilara also have dining privileges at the Ziva, and adult Ziva guests may dine at the Zilara after 6 p.m.

Travel agents booking any Hyatt Zilara or Ziva resort can earn up to US$160 cash per booking by registering on Agents.PlayaResorts.com. All room categories qualify, as do bookings through all tour operators.

The Royal Playa Del Carmen (513 rooms)

This is an adults-only resort directly on the beach, one block from 5th Avenue. It includes eight dining venues and newly added swim-out suites.

GRAN Porto Playa del Carmen (287 rooms)

An all-ages 3.5-star resort, one block from 5th Avenue, with eight dining venues and four bars. Family Junior Suites accommodate up to five.

GRAN Caribe Cancun (452 rooms)

An all-ages 3.5-star resort, located next to Hyatt Zilara. It includes eight dining venues. Its Family Junior Suites accommodate up to five.

Playa Resorts has entered a partnership with Panama Jack to transform the two GRAN properties into solid four-star resorts. Both resorts will be rebranded to have the iconic look and feel of the Panama Jack brand this October.

Playa Resorts properties also offer customizable wedding packages and agents can check live availability of wedding venues at all Playa Resorts online.
