Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach in Honolulu opened its doors by hosting a grand opening celebration. Located in the former Waikiki Trade Centre, the hotel is the first Hyatt Centric hotel in the state of Hawaii.
“We are thrilled to open doors as an anchor of Kuhio Avenue’s renaissance,” said the company’s General Manager Charles Young. “Our team has worked tirelessly to transform the historic building into a platform for guests to explore and discover the best of Waikiki’s urban setting.”
The hotel offers 230 contemporary guestrooms and suites and a modern guestroom design, with floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the ocean. Its amenities include a lounge pool, outdoor seating with circular fire pits, and a 24/7 fitness facility.
Hyatt Centric Waikiki Beach is the 12th hotel in the Hyatt Centric brand’s portfolio, joining hotels in North America and Latin America destinations including New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Key West, Montevideo, Uruguay, among others.
