AMResorts freezes sales at Secrets Silversands, expects to resolve dispute by December

The management team at Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun has provided guests with an update, following an announcement which came last month stating that the property was freezing sales to the resort due to internal management conflicts.

In a statement, Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun wrote, "As conveyed recently, the property owner is experiencing an internal reorganization which may temporarily impact the expected brand standards. Those with reservations at Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun through Dec. 13, 2019 will receive alternative accommodation at Secrets The Vine Cancun.

A change in accommodations

Previously, it was announced that those with reservations at Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun from Aug. 1 to Sept. 30, 2019 would receive alternative accommodation at Secrets The Vine Cancun or Breathless Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa

The resort's management team announced that new arrivals are being accepted starting Dec. 14, 2019. 

Secrets Silversands Riviera Cancun is still open.

However, AMResorts reports that "to ensure guests enjoy the travel experience they have come to expect, the decision has also been made to issue a stop sale until the owner resolves their situation."
