Sheraton Hotels and Resorts has completed an extensive US $32.6M renovation of the Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas in Australia, with renovations to all guest rooms, suites and public areas.
Each of the property’s 294 rooms feature a new design, along with daybeds provided on the balconies.The resort is also introducing 41 Lagoon Edge Rooms and 12 Lagoon Edge Studio Suites on the ground floor with private balconies offering guests exquisite views of and direct access to the resort’s saltwater lagoon swimming pools. The renovation also marks the debut of SPG Keyless in Asia Pacific, according to Starwood.
Beyond the guest rooms, Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas also features a reinvigorated lobby experience, with a revamped porte cochére and main entrance, featuring natural tones and pockets of tropical gardens.
Guests can also enjoy a variety of enhanced dining options, from the Lobby Café to the debut of the Sheraton brand’s signature restaurant, Feast, featuring an interactive buffet and alfresco poolside dining experience.
