Velas Resorts hosted a select group of 18 travel agents at Vancouver’s Blue Water Café for a lively dinner last night to introduce its newest property and share resort updates.

White unveiled the latest addition to the Velas portfolio the Mar del Cabo, a boutique, four-star, fully restored property right on the beach, next to the Grand Velas Los Cabos. The European Plan hotel offers 48 suites, one restaurant, two bars, a heated pool and oceanfront massages and is 35 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport and 15 minutes from San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Day passes to the Grand Velas Los Cabos can be purchased for clients.

It’s all about the inclusions noted White, “Whether it be the wine, the kids club, the teens club, the spa, the in-suite amenities, the arrival welcome.”

  • The culinary experiences start with no-extra-cost gourmet dining from award-winning chefs in all on-property restaurants, and continue through the 50 wines on the all-inclusive wine list, tastings with both wine and tequila sommeliers, to special chef’s table dining options.
  • The Salute Per Acqua spas offer modern facilities and treatments inspired by healing practices from Mexico and around the world.   • Families can take advantage of onsite kids clubs (ages 4 to 12) and teens clubs (ages 13 to 15) that offer a wide range of entertainment including cooking, origami and dance classes; Pirate Night; Mayan Show; Samba Night; Circus Show; bungy jumping; and a drive-in movie.
