American Express Global Business Travel has appointed Patrick Doyle to vice-president and general manager for Canada, a role in which he will oversee commercial relationships in the region and manage a team of professionals that help serve key Canadian clients.
Doyle is also accountable for driving client retention and acquisition strategies in the region through service, product and marketing strategies aligned with the needs of Canadian clients and has demonstrated strong leadership and capabilities in all areas of business travel account management with both global and multinational clients.
Doyle has served clients in over twenty countries over the course of his fifteen-year career with GBT. Prior to his current position, Doyle held various leadership roles with both the Global Payments and Corporate Quality Groups at American Express. In addition, he has a proven track record of leading programs that consistently demonstrate value to shareholders and stakeholders, positioning him as a thought leader and a go-to expert within the industry.
