The Travel Corporation's Calgary sales team recently partnered with local travel agents to spread some holiday cheer by giving back to the community.
Joel Danyluk (Contiki), Brad Gibson (Insight) and Jodine Clement (Trafalgar) invited Calgary-area travel agents, along with family members, to volunteer their evening at the Mustard Seed, a local charity that serves people experiencing poverty and homelessness in Alberta, by helping to sort the many donations that are received by the organization.
In the true spirit of Christmas, the Calgary BDMs also continued their tradition of caroling to the local travel agencies. This year, however, they decided to include the agencies to help give back, asking them to provide food bank donations – and they did not disappoint, with the agencies donating more than 450lbs of food items plus $135 donated by Travel Time.
TTC’s BDM's thank Airline Ticket Centre, Cruise Authority, Expedia Cruiseship Centers Crescent Heights, Expedia Cruiseship Centers Dalhousie/Aspen Landing, Flight Centre Deerfoot City, Transat Travel Sunridge, Travel Time and Vision Travel Crowfoot for their generous donations.
