“Our 90 years of experience in the business enables us to confidently show you the best of the world in a safe and stress-free environment, where someone takes care of all the details to create a perfectly planned holiday, you simply enjoy the trip and come home with unforgettable memories," said Peter Ouzounov, business development manager.

Kim Clarke, director of sales for Globus family of brands added:

“2018 has been a record year for Globus - it is the best year in our history since being in Canada. We would not be where we are today, without our travel agent partners. We rely on their support and dedication for our success."

Globus: first class all the way

Clients on Globus trips travel on modern, ultra-deluxe motor coaches with free wifi, and stay at four or five-star city centre hotels. All baggage handling is looked after and the group is escorted by a dedicated tour director who speaks the local language. Visits to attractions include personal headsets, with commentary by certified local guides, and VIP access to skip the lines. A Globus tour always includes local, unique experiences such as learning to tango in Buenos Aires or dune buggy ride in Morocco.

A new “Private Touring” option is now available for Europe, where clients can turn any Globus tour into a private one, with a dedicated driver, tour director and local guides.

Off-season, Globus also offers tours in Europe, South and Central America and Asia where there are less crowds, with packages priced at approximately $120 per day.

Cosmos: tours on a budget

Cosmos tours are suitable for clients who prefer more independence. Packages include transportation, two or three night stays at three to four-star properties outside of the city centre, with fewer included meals and sightseeing tours.

Clients looking for even more flexibility can consider Globus Lite, which only includes transportation and accommodations, without any other scheduled excursions. A tour director is available on hand to make sightseeing suggestions and optional excursions are available for purchase.

Monograms: independent travel program

Ranging from single city, multi-city to multi-country trips, Monograms includes transportation, accommodations, and one sightseeing tour per city. Clients are met by a local host who will provide transfers, and act as a personal concierge during their stay. Monograms are perfect for the fully independent traveller, and as pre or post-cruise extensions.

Avalon Waterways: suite ships on the river

Avalon Waterways operates 13 ships on all the major rivers in Europe, as well as on the Mekong and the Ganges. Travellers onboard Avalon have a choice of classic city walking tours, off-the-beaten path discovery tours, or active excursions such as biking, hiking or paddling. Signature onboard features include choice of dining venues, panorama suites with open-air balconies and beds that face the windows.
