G Adventures and Tokyo Tourism have partnered on a new campaign encouraging Canadians to visit the city as a year-round holiday destination instead of a stopover.
The multi-channel program launches Oct. 7, 2019 and runs through to November; to encourage bookings, agents’ clients can save 10 per cent off select trips that visit Tokyo between Oct. 22 – Nov. 19, 2019. In addition, G Adventures and Tokyo Tourism will host a Tokyo webinar on Oct. 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. PST; agents can register for the webinar here.
G Adventures offers 12 tours that visit Tokyo across five travel styles including Epic Japan: Sake & Street Food; Backroads of Japan; and Iconic Japan
“Tokyo is a bucket list destination for so many people. It’s the largest city in the world and Tokyo’s culture, lights, architecture, food, cherry blossoms, and history attract travellers from all over the world, including many Canadians,” says Aizaz Sheikh, G Adventures’ Canadian marketing director. “In fact, sales of our Japan tours, many of which visit Tokyo, grew 15 per cent in the last year.”
