Globus and Cosmos have announced new itineraries to North America for 2020, all of which are open for booking.
New tours from Globus include:
- Quebec in Depth with the Gaspé Peninsula: starting in cosmopolitan Montreal but concentrating on historic villages, marine wildlife and farm-to-table dining, a highlight for many will be a whale-watching cruise.
- Historic Cities of Eastern Canada tour, now with an optional add-on of the memorable VIA Rail Ocean Train from Montreal to Halifax.
Expanded North American tours from value-brand Cosmos include:
Special event-themed vacations
For many years Globus has sourced popular events, such as the Tournament of Roses and the Albuquerque Balloon Festival, to include in their tours.
These special event tours have been increased to feature the 400th landing of the Mayflower on a tour to Cape Cod and the Islands (which includes a five night stay in Cape Cod); the experience of the Jasper Dark Sky Festival on a Canadian Rockies Adventure; and a celebration of winter on an Eastern Canada Adventure.
“There are so many advantages of being part of an escorted tour in North America,” said Stéphanie Bishop, managing director for the Globus family of brands in Canada. “We make the most of every day with pre-paid admissions to many key attractions, taking care of the driving so you can enjoy the scenery, and we give you the opportunity to do it all in the company of newfound friends from around the world.”
Travellers will save 10 per cent on any Globus 2020 North American tour when they book by Dec. 2 2019, and $50 off any Cosmos 2020 North American tour when they book by Oct. 22. Young travellers save a further 10 per cent off the land portion off all Cosmos tours, regardless of date of booking.
