TPI Gives Back in Mexico

Travel Professionals International raised $7,500 - matched by TPI Corporate for a total of $15,000 - for the Mexico-based City of Joy Foundation, as part of its TPI Gives Back efforts at its 20th Anniversary Conference.

In addition to the monetary donation, TPI advisors and staff from across Canada donated over a dozen large boxes of school supplies to the City of Joy efforts.

Founded in 2000, the City of Joy Foundation (Fundacion Ciudad de la Alegria) supports individuals and families who live in Cancun and the state of Quintana Roo. These people often work in the hospitality industry but find themselves coming up short in supporting their family's various needs, including living and education expenses, said a release from TPI.

TPI Gives Back was co-sponsored by Princess Cruises and Air Canada Vacations.
