The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority (SLTA) has announced a new organizational structure in Canada that streamlines marketing operations, PAX has learned.
Under the new structure, marketing activities for Canada are now assigned to the SLTA Head Office in Saint Lucia, optimizing capabilities across the organization, states a release.
As part of the restructuring, Rod Hanna, who was previously national trade sales manager for Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, has been promoted to Director of Sales - Canada.
In-market sales efforts and the Canadian public relations program will remain based on the ground in Toronto.
Global social media activities will also continue to be based in Canada.
“As we continue development of the important Canada market, our teams in Saint Lucia and Toronto will remain focused on marketing Saint Lucia to consumers and trade audiences across Canada,” Jackie Mathurin, senior marketing manager, Saint Lucia Tourism Authority, stated.
