Travel industry has a ball at Mexico Golf Classic

Travel industry members in BC hit the links at the Mexico Golf Classic recently, for a day of fun and networking on the course.

The event took place at the Mayfair Lakes Golf Course in Richmond, BC on Aug. 23 and was co-sponsored by the Quintana Roo Tourism Board and Puebla Tourism, the latter of which sponsored a food and Mezcal tasting accompanied by a local chef.

The grand prize winners included Greg Dunford, who received two round trip air seats onboard Sunwing, plus a seven-night all-inclusive stay for two people at Velas Vallarta; and Bee Bee Prangchan of Uniglobe Travel, who won a second grand prize sponsored by AMResorts and WestJet, including two round trips tickets to Puerto Vallarta and seven nights’ accommodations at the all-inclusive Reflect Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta.

The Low Net winning team included Irv Wight and Allan Laprise of Uniglobe Travel and Doug Revell and Kelly Revell of Uniglobe Specialty Travel.
