VIDEO: Jamaica Tourist Board takes the 'Heartbeat of the World' on the road

This year, the Jamaica Tourist Board is on a mission to reach as many travel agents in Canada as they possibly can.

That spirit was captured last month when the JTB team embarked on a vibrant Canadian tour to update the trade on the latest offerings from Jamaica's travel partners, from hotels and attractions to airlines and tour operators.

The JTB’s 2019 Fall Product Update Seminar touched down in Saskatoon, Regina, Lethbridge, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa, giving agents in every city a warm Jamaican welcome. 

“We’ve seen a very strong representation from travel agents,” Angella Bennett, the JTB’s regional director for Canada, told PAX at the Toronto stop of the tour. “It speaks volumes to the fact that Jamaica remains a very strong destination to the travel trade.”
